भरतपुर महानगरपालिकामा सञ्चालित भूमिगत विद्युतीकरण परियोजनाले ९५ प्रतिशत प्रगति हासिल गरेको छ। यो परियोजनाअन्तर्गत भूमिगत विद्युत वितरण प्रणालीमार्फत ४६० ग्राहकलाई विद्युत सेवा उपलब्ध गराइएको छ। बाइपास सडक, सहिद चोकदेखि पुल्चोकसम्मको क्षेत्र र चितवन मेडिकल कलेजअगाडिका नेपाल विद्युत प्राधिकरणका ग्राहकले अब भूमिगत प्रणालीबाट विद्युत आपूर्ति पाएका छन्।
