पर्वतको कुश्मा नगरपालिका–१ को पाङबाट म्याग्दी र मुस्ताङ हुँदै चीनको कोरला नाकासम्म जोड्ने २०२ किलोमिटर लामो बेनी–जोमसोम–कोरला सडक असोजको अन्त्य र कात्तिकको सुरुमा भारी वर्षाका कारण आएको बाढी र पहिरोले क्षति पुर्याएको थियो। कालीगण्डकी करिडोरअन्तर्गत सडक मर्मत तीव्र पारिएको छ, ड्रोनमार्फत इन्धन ढुवानी गरिएको छ र पोखरेबगर पुलको पहुँच मार्ग ११ दिनपछि पुनः जोडिएको छ। सडक सोमबारदेखि सवारी सञ्चालनमा खुल्ने अपेक्षा गरिएको छ, तर म्याग्दीको बेनी नगरपालिका–२ स्थित भस्भसेमा गएको पहिरोले वैकल्पिक बागलुङ–बेनी सडकमा ट्राफिक जाम र दुर्घटनाको जोखिम बढाएको छ। यसअघि मुस्ताङमा इन्धन अभावले सडक मर्मत र निर्माण कार्य प्रभावित भएको थियो।
म्याग्दीमा बेनी–जोमसोम–कोरला सडक मर्मतमा इन्धन अभाव मुख्य समस्या बनेको छ। नेपाल हुँदै चीन र भारत जोड्ने यो सडक गत साता भारी वर्षापछि लेदोसहितको पहिरोका कारण अवरुद्ध भएको थियो। लगातार वर्षाबाट आएको बाढीले पनि यो मार्ग अवरुद्ध बनाएको छ। इन्धनको अपर्याप्त आपूर्तिका कारण म्याग्दी खण्डको पुनःस्थापना कार्य प्रभावित भएको छ।
