गत भदौ १० गते (अगस्ट २६) रसुवाको भोटेकोशी नदीमा आएको विनाशकारी बाढीका पीडितहरूको सम्मानमा आज नेपालभर राष्ट्रिय शोक मनाइँदैछ। भदौ १८ गते सिंहदरबारस्थित प्रधानमन्त्री तथा मन्त्रिपरिषद्को कार्यालयमा बसेको मन्त्रिपरिषद्को बैठकले यो शोक दिवस मनाउने निर्णय गरेको थियो। यस अवसरमा देशभरका सरकारी कार्यालय र विश्वभरका नेपाली दूतावासहरूमा राष्ट्रिय झण्डा आधा झुकाइनेछ। विपद्को १३ औं दिनमा आयोजित यस कार्यक्रमले पीडित परिवारप्रति सामूहिक समवेदना प्रकट गरेको छ।
