नुवाकोटको विदुर नगरपालिका–१०, बेत्रावतीमा बाढीले पुरिएको घरबाट ६४ वर्षीया चण्डिका श्रेष्ठको ११ दिनपछि जीवितै उद्धार गरिएको छ। सशस्त्र प्रहरी निरीक्षक सुमन बीकेको नेतृत्वमा खटिएको टोलीले उनलाई आनन्द श्रेष्ठको घरको चौथो तलाबाट उद्धार गरेको हो। भोटे कोशी नदीमा आएको बाढीले उक्त घर पुरेको थियो। सोही दिन नेपाली सेनाले माथिल्लो त्रिशूली–१ जलविद्युत आयोजनाको सुरुङबाट एक चिनियाँ नागरिकको पनि जीवितै उद्धार गरेको छ।
