नेपालको विद्युत माग पिक आवरमा ३,२४८ मेगावाट पुगेको छ, जसअनुसार कुल ऊर्जा खपत ७३,६२९ मेगावाट घण्टा रहेको छ। नेपाल विद्युत प्राधिकरणका अनुसार हाल भारतबाट बिजुली आयात गरिएको छैन। मनसुनको समयमा उत्पादन बढी भएपछि प्राधिकरणले २२,१०२ मेगावाट घण्टा बिजुली निर्यात गरिरहेको छ भने निजी उत्पादकहरूले राष्ट्रिय प्रसारण लाइनमा ठूलो योगदान पुऱ्याएका छन्।
