सुदूरपश्चिम प्रदेश सरकारले आर्थिक वर्ष २०८२/८३ मा आफ्नो कुल बजेटको ६२.२६ प्रतिशत अर्थात् २० अर्ब ८१ करोड ५० लाख रुपैयाँ मात्र खर्च गरेको छ। प्रदेश लेखा नियन्त्रक कार्यालयका अनुसार पुँजीगत खर्च ६० प्रतिशतभन्दा कम रहेको छ। कुल ३३ अर्ब ४३ करोड २० लाख विनियोजन गरिएकोमा चालु खर्चतर्फ ६८.०४ प्रतिशत खर्च भएको छ भने विकास लक्षित खर्च न्यून देखिएको छ।
