चालु आर्थिक वर्ष २०८३/८४ को पहिलो दुई महिनामा मधेश प्रदेशमा ४५९ विपद् घटना भएका छन्, जसमा ९२ जनाको मृत्यु भएको मधेश प्रदेश कार्यालय, जनकपुरधामले जनाएको छ। मृत्यु हुनेमा ४७ पुरुष, १९ महिला र २८ बालबालिका छन् भने ५०० भन्दा बढी परिवार प्रभावित भएका छन्। यो तथ्याङ्क जनकपुरधामस्थित मधेश प्रदेश कार्यालयले सार्वजनिक गरेको हो।
