नेपाली कांग्रेसका सभापति गगन कुमार थापाको नेतृत्वमा हुन लागेको १५औँ महाधिवेशन रोक्न माग गर्दै परेको रिटलाई सर्वोच्च अदालतले अस्वीकार गरेको छ। न्यायाधीशहरू नहकुल सुवेदी, महेश शर्मा पौडेल र मेघराज पोखरेलको पूर्ण इजलासले पूर्व सभापति शेरबहादुर देउवा र पूर्व कार्यवाहक सभापति पूर्णबहादुर खड्काद्वारा दायर पूरक निवेदनमा अन्तरिम आदेश दिन अस्वीकार गरेको हो। देउवा पक्षले महाधिवेशनको वैधानिकतामाथि प्रश्न उठाउँदै सुकेधारामा छुट्टै भेला आयोजना गरी समानान्तर गतिविधि अगाडि बढाएको थियो। अदालतको यो फैसलासँगै पार्टीभित्रको आन्तरिक विवादका बीच पनि निर्धारित महाधिवेशन प्रक्रिया अघि बढ्ने बाटो खुलेको छ।
