कोशी प्रदेशमा साउन ५ गतेसम्म ७३.९४ प्रतिशत धान रोपाइँ सम्पन्न भएको छ। कृषि, उद्योग तथा सहकारी मन्त्रालयका कृषि प्रसार अधिकृत अभिमन्यु अधिकारीका अनुसार ताप्लेजुङ, संखुवासभा र सोलुखुम्बु जस्ता उच्च पहाडी जिल्लाहरूमा रोपाइँको काम तीव्र गतिमा भइरहेको छ। यी हिमाली क्षेत्रका कुल १५,३८३ हेक्टर धान खेतमध्ये हालसम्म ९,२४१ हेक्टरमा रोपाइँ सकिएको छ।
