अन्नपूर्ण पदयात्रा मार्गमा गत आर्थिक वर्ष २०८२/८३ मा लेक लागेर (अल्टिच्युड सिकनेस) २५ जना पर्यटकको मृत्यु भएको छ। अन्नपूर्ण संरक्षण क्षेत्र आयोजना (ACAP) का अनुसार मृत्यु हुनेमा १२ नेपाली, ९ भारतीय र जापान, मेक्सिको, स्पेन तथा सिंगापुरका एक-एक जना रहेका छन्। सबैभन्दा बढी मुस्ताङमा १५ जना, मनाङमा ८ जना तथा अन्नपूर्ण आधार शिविर र मर्दी हिमालमा एक-एक जनाको ज्यान गएको हो।
गत आर्थिक वर्षमा अन्नपूर्ण पदमार्ग क्षेत्रमा लेक लागेर २५ जना पर्यटकको मृत्यु भएको छ। अन्नपूर्ण संरक्षण क्षेत्र आयोजना (एक्याप) का अनुसार मृत्यु हुनेमा १२ नेपाली र भारत, जापान तथा मेक्सिको लगायतका देशका १३ विदेशी नागरिक रहेका छन्। सबैभन्दा धेरै मुस्ताङ र मनाङमा मानवीय क्षति भएको छ भने अन्नपूर्ण आधार शिविर र मर्दी हिमालमा पनि मृत्युका घटना दर्ता भएका छन्।
