झापा र उदयपुर जिल्लामा जङ्गली हात्तीको बथानले घर र खेतीपातीमा ठूलो क्षति पुर्याएको छ। उदयपुरको चौदण्डीगढी नगरपालिका-७ स्थित कुमाङ लामचौर क्षेत्रमा हात्तीले ६ वटा घर भत्काएको जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयले जनाएको छ। यस्तै, झापाको बाहुनडाँगी क्षेत्रमा हात्तीको निरन्तरको प्रवेशले स्थानीय बासिन्दा त्रसित छन् र बालीनालीमा व्यापक नोक्सानी पुगेको छ।
उदयपुरको चौदण्डीगढी नगरपालिका-७ स्थित कुमाङ लामाचौर क्षेत्रमा आइतबार राति जंगली हात्तीको बथानले वितण्डा मच्चाएको छ। जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयका सूचना अधिकारी गणेश बमका अनुसार हात्तीको आक्रमणबाट स्थानीयका ६ वटा घरमा क्षति पुगेको छ। घटनामा भौतिक क्षति भए तापनि मानवीय क्षतिको भने कुनै विवरण प्राप्त भएको छैन।
