विज्ञान, प्रविधि तथा नवप्रवर्तन मन्त्री महावीर पुनले राष्ट्रिय विधि विज्ञान प्रयोगशालालाई सुदृढ बनाउन सरकारले प्राथमिकता दिएको बताउनुभएको छ। प्रतिनिधि सभा अन्तर्गतको शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य तथा सूचना प्रविधि समितिको बैठकमा 'राष्ट्रिय विधि विज्ञान प्रयोगशाला (स्थापना र सञ्चालन) विधेयक, २०८१' माथि छलफल गर्दै उहाँले यस्तो धारणा राख्नुभएको हो। मन्त्री पुनले प्रस्तावित विधेयकले अनुसन्धान क्षमता अभिवृद्धि गर्न एउटै विशिष्टीकृत प्रयोगशालाको स्थापना र सञ्चालनमा केन्द्रित रहेको स्पष्ट पार्नुभयो।
