अर्थमन्त्री डा. स्वर्णिम वाग्लेले आर्थिक वर्ष २०८३/८४ को बजेट प्रस्तुत गर्दै नेपाल टेलिकममा सरकारको हिस्सा ६६ प्रतिशतमा सीमित गर्ने घोषणा गर्नुभएको छ। बाँकी ३४ प्रतिशत सेयर आगामी पुस महिनाभित्र सर्वसाधारणलाई बिक्री गरिने उहाँले संघीय संसदको संयुक्त बैठकमा जानकारी दिनुभयो। यस कदममार्फत सरकारी स्वामित्वको कम्पनीमा सर्वसाधारणको पहुँच बढाउने र प्राप्त रकमलाई प्रविधि क्षेत्रमा परिचालन गर्ने सरकारको लक्ष्य छ।
