ललितपुरको बालकुमारीमा खैरो हिरोइन कारोबारमा संलग्न व्यक्तिहरूलाई पक्राउ गर्न नेपाल प्रहरीको लागूऔषध नियन्त्रण ब्युरोले गोली प्रहार गरेको छ। काठमाडौंको सिमाना नजिकै भागिरहेका संदिग्धहरूलाई नियन्त्रणमा लिन प्रहरीले दुई राउण्ड हवाई फायरसहित जम्मा तीन राउण्ड गोली चलाएको थियो। यस कारबाहीमा तीन जना कारोबारी पक्राउ परेका छन् र प्रहरीले देशभर लागूऔषध विरुद्धको अभियानलाई तीव्रता दिएको छ।
नेपाल प्रहरीले लागुऔषध ओसारपसार, चोरी र मानव बेचबिखन जस्ता विभिन्न अपराधमा संलग्न सयौँ व्यक्तिहरूलाई देशभरबाट पक्राउ गरेको छ। काठमाडौँमा 'स्क्याम सेन्टर' चलाएको आरोपमा १५ जना बङ्गलादेशी नागरिक र पशुपतिनाथ मन्दिरमा चोरी गरेको आरोपमा पाँच जना भारतीय महिला पक्राउ परेका छन्। जडिबुटीमा प्रहरीले गोली चलाएर गणेश कार्की नामक लुटेरालाई नियन्त्रणमा लिएको छ भने पछिल्लो छ महिनामा देशभरबाट ४,६०० भन्दा बढी व्यक्ति लागुऔषध मुद्दामा पक्राउ परेका छन्।
