संवैधानिक परिषद्ले सर्वोच्च अदालतका न्यायाधीश मनोजकुमार शर्मालाई नेपालको प्रधानन्यायाधीशमा सिफारिस गरेको छ। वरीयता क्रममा चौथो नम्बरमा रहेका शर्मालाई सिफारिस गरेसँगै न्यायपालिकामा यसअघिको ज्येष्ठताको परम्परा तोडिएको छ। यो सिफारिस अब संसदीय सुनुवाइ समितिमा पठाइनेछ र त्यहाँबाट अनुमोदन भएपछि राष्ट्रपतिद्वारा उनलाई नियुक्त गरिनेछ।
