PM Shah Orders Removal of Party Structures from Universities

प्रधानमन्त्री बालेन्द्र शाहले देशभरका विश्वविद्यालयका उपकुलपतिहरूलाई क्याम्पसबाट दलीय विद्यार्थी तथा कर्मचारी संगठनका संरचनाहरू तत्काल हटाउन निर्देशन दिएका छन्। यो निर्देशन प्रधानमन्त्री तथा मन्त्रिपरिषद्को कार्यालयमा आयोजित छलफलका क्रममा जारी गरिएको हो। शिक्षा मन्त्री सस्मित पोखरेलले विश्वविद्यालय परिसरबाट झण्डा, ब्यानर, भित्तेलेखन र अन्य राजनीतिक संरचना हटाउने क्रममा कुनै अवरोध आएमा गृह मन्त्रालयमार्फत सुरक्षा सहायता परिचालन गर्ने निर्णय गरिएको जानकारी दिएका छन्।

Prime Minister Balendra Shah has directed vice-chancellors of universities across Nepal to immediately remove party-affiliated student and staff unions from campuses. The directive was issued during a meeting at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers. The government has also decided to deploy security forces through the Ministry of Home Affairs if any obstruction is encountered during the removal of banners, flags, graffiti, and other political structures.
