Nepal's Supreme Court has legitimized Gagan Thapa as President of the Nepali Congress, validating the party leadership elected through a special general convention. Following the verdict, Thapa called for party unity and renewal. Meanwhile, outgoing acting president Purna Bahadur Khadka convened meetings of central committee members, and the party also finalized an expert committee to study and recommend constitutional amendments.
