अख्तियार दुरुपयोग अनुसन्धान आयोग (अख्तियार) ले बिहीबार पूर्वसभामुख कृष्णबहादुर महरासहित २८ जनाविरुद्ध सुन तस्करी सम्बन्धी भ्रष्टाचार मुद्दा विशेष अदालतमा दायर गरेको छ। अख्तियारले पछिल्लो पाँच वर्षमा राजनीतिक पदाधिकारी, जनप्रतिनिधि र सरकारी कर्मचारीविरुद्ध गरी जम्मा ७९८ वटा भ्रष्टाचार मुद्दा दर्ता गरेको छ, जसमा ३१ अर्ब रुपैयाँभन्दा बढीको दाबी समावेश छ।

The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) filed a corruption case at the Special Court in Kathmandu on Thursday against 28 individuals, including former Speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara, in connection with a gold smuggling case. The filing is part of the CIAA's broader anti-corruption efforts, during which it has registered 798 cases over the past five years involving claims exceeding Rs 31 billion. The cases target political officeholders, elected representatives, and government employees.
