पोखरा महानगरपालिका-१८ स्थित सेदीमा सोमबार बिहान हिँडिरहेका बेला अचानक बेहोस भएका ४८ वर्षीय अमेरिकी नागरिक म्याथ्यु एलेक्स जोन्सको मृत्यु भएको छ। स्थानीयको सहयोगमा उद्धार गरी उनलाई मेट्रोसिटी अस्पताल पुर्याइएकोमा उपचारकै क्रममा चिकित्सकले मृत घोषित गरेका थिए। जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय कास्कीका प्रहरी नायब उपरीक्षक वीरेन्द्रकुमार पासवानका अनुसार मृत्युको कारण पत्ता लगाउन शवलाई पश्चिमाञ्चल क्षेत्रीय अस्पताल (पोखरा स्वास्थ्य विज्ञान प्रतिष्ठान) पठाइएको छ।
