आर्थिक वर्ष २०८२/८३ मा कुल १२ लाख ९ हजार ३ सय ५७ विदेशी पर्यटक नेपाल भित्रिएका छन्, जुन अघिल्लो वर्षको तुलनामा ४.८ प्रतिशतले बढी हो। नेपाल पर्यटन बोर्डका अनुसार ३ लाख ११ हजार ५ सय ३१ पर्यटकसहित भारत प्रमुख स्रोत मुलुक बनेको छ भने अमेरिका र चीन क्रमशः दोस्रो र तेस्रो स्थानमा रहेका छन्। यसैगरी, झापाको काँकडभिट्टा नाकाबाट मात्रै ९ हजार ४ सय ४७ विदेशी पर्यटक नेपाल प्रवेश गरेको अध्यागमन कार्यालयले जनाएको छ।
