काठमाडौंमा शनिबार आयोजित ४४औँ छिन्नलता गीत पुरस्कार समारोहमा सभामुख डोलप्रसाद अर्यालले पाँच जना स्रष्टाहरूलाई सम्मानित गर्नुभएको छ। वरिष्ठ हास्यकलाकार तथा गायक मदनकृष्ण श्रेष्ठलाई सन् २०२६ को 'छिन्नलता गीत विशेष सम्मान' प्रदान गरिएको छ। वरिष्ठ गीतकार रमोला देवी शाह 'छिन्नलता' को स्मृतिमा स्थापित यो पुरस्कार नेपाली गीत-संगीतको क्षेत्रमा योगदान पुर्याउने व्यक्तित्वहरूलाई प्रदान गरिँदै आएको छ।
