नेपाल सरकार, राष्ट्रिय युवा परिषद् र यूएनएफपीएको सहकार्यमा युवा केन्द्रित विकासलाई प्राथमिकता दिँदै विश्व जनसंख्या दिवस २०२६ मनाइएको छ। कार्यक्रममा सरकारी अधिकारीहरू र १५० भन्दा बढी युवाहरूले जनसांख्यिकीय परिवर्तनलाई सम्बोधन गर्न युवा पुस्ताका चाहनाहरूलाई विकास नीतिमा समावेश गर्ने विषयमा छलफल गरे। सोही अवसरमा झण्डै १ लाख ९ हजार युवाहरूको धारणा समेटिएको 'डेमोग्राफिक फ्युचर्स सर्भे' को राष्ट्रिय प्रतिवेदन पनि सार्वजनिक गरिएको थियो।
