बागलुङको ढोरपाटन शिकार आरक्षभित्र पर्ने बुकीपाटनमा पर्यटकको संख्या बढेसँगै नसड्ने फोहोरको मात्रा पनि उल्लेख्य रूपमा बढेको छ। जथाभावी फालिएका प्लास्टिकका बोतल, खोल र सिसाका कारण यस क्षेत्रको प्राकृतिक सौन्दर्य र वातावरणमा नकारात्मक असर परिरहेको स्थानीयले बताएका छन्। नेपालको एक मात्र शिकार आरक्षको रूपमा रहेको यस क्षेत्रको नाजुक पारिस्थितिक प्रणालीमा बढ्दो प्रदूषणले गम्भीर खतरा निम्त्याएको छ। बुकीपाटनको मौलिकता जोगाउन फोहोर व्यवस्थापनका लागि तत्काल पहल गर्नुपर्ने आवश्यकता देखिएको छ।
