पशु सेवा विभागले नश्ल सुधार गरी दुध उत्पादन बढाउने उद्देश्यले देशभरका दुग्ध किसानहरूलाई ४८,८५६ डोज मुर्रा भैँसीको बीर्य वितरण गरेको छ। १५ वटा मुर्रा राँगाहरूबाट संकलन गरिएको यो बीर्य व्यावसायिक उत्पादन वृद्धिका लागि उपयोगी मानिन्छ। विभागकी सूचना अधिकारी डा. इन्दिरा शर्माका अनुसार भारतको पञ्जाब र हरियाणाबाट ल्याइएको यो उन्नत जातको भैँसी किसानहरूका लागि व्यावसायिक रूपमा निकै लाभदायक छ।
