काठमाडौं उपत्यकाका किसानहरूले उचित मूल्य नपाएको र भारतीय आयात बढेको भन्दै बुधबार माइतीघर मण्डलामा गोलभेडा फालेर विरोध प्रदर्शन गरेका छन्। सरकारको कृषि नीतिप्रति असन्तुष्टि जनाउँदै उनीहरूले उत्पादन लागत समेत नउठेको गुनासो गरेका छन्। प्रदर्शनकारीहरूले स्थानीय उत्पादनका लागि भरपर्दो बजार, उचित अनुदान र न्यायोचित मूल्य सुनिश्चित गर्न सरकारसँग माग गरेका छन्।
