नेपालमा यस वर्ष धान रोपाइँमा उल्लेख्य कमी आएको छ। कृषि विभागका महानिर्देशक प्रकाश कुमार सञ्जेलका अनुसार गत वर्ष यसै समयमा ४५ प्रतिशत रोपाइँ सकिएकोमा यस वर्ष हालसम्म ३२.३८ प्रतिशत मात्र सम्पन्न भएको छ। देशभरिको कुल १३ लाख ७० हजार हेक्टर धान खेतीयोग्य जमिनमध्ये हालसम्म ४ लाख ४३ हजार ५९५ हेक्टरमा मात्र रोपाइँ भएको छ। सुदूरपश्चिम प्रदेशमा सबैभन्दा बढी ५७.९ प्रतिशत रोपाइँ भएको तथ्याङ्कले देखाएको छ।
