बर्ड फ्लुको संक्रमण नियन्त्रण गर्न काभ्रेपलाञ्चोकमा ४० हजारभन्दा बढी घरपालुवा पक्षीहरू नष्ट गरिएको छ। धुलिखेलस्थित भेटेरिनरी अस्पताल तथा पशु सेवा विज्ञ केन्द्रका अनुसार व्यावसायिक फार्महरूमा पालिएका ४०,७२९ हाँस र लेयर्स कुखुराहरू मारिएका हुन्। विगत केही हप्तादेखि पक्षीहरू मर्न थालेपछि थप संक्रमण फैलिन नदिन जिल्लाका विभिन्न स्थानमा यो कदम चालिएको हो।
