चितवनमा सम्पन्न राष्ट्रिय स्वतन्त्र पार्टी (रास्वपा) को पहिलो महाधिवेशनले ३८४ उम्मेदवारमध्येबाट ९९ सदस्यीय केन्द्रीय समिति चयन गरेको छ। खुलातर्फ डा. स्वर्णिम वाग्लेले सबैभन्दा बढी मत प्राप्त गरे भने उनी उपाध्यक्षमा निर्विरोध निर्वाचित भएका छन्। निर्वाचित समितिमा ४९ जना महिला रहेका छन्, जुन कुल सदस्यको करिब ५० प्रतिशत हो। निर्वाचन प्रक्रियामा विद्युतीय मतदान मेसिनको प्रयोग गरिएको थियो।
राष्ट्रिय स्वतन्त्र पार्टी (रास्वपा) ले चितवनमा हुने आफ्नो पहिलो महाधिवेशनका लागि ३,८४९ प्रतिनिधिहरूको नामावली टुंगो लगाएको छ। केन्द्रीय निर्वाचन आयोगका प्रमुख भुवन केसीका अनुसार प्रारम्भिक सूचीमा परेका उजुरीहरूको छानबिनपछि प्रतिनिधिहरूको संख्या यकिन गरिएको हो। पार्टीको यो राष्ट्रिय भेलाका लागि सांगठनिक तयारीको रूपमा यस चयनलाई महत्त्वपूर्ण मानिएको छ।
चितवनमा जारी राष्ट्रिय स्वतन्त्र पार्टी (रास्वपा) को पहिलो महाधिवेशनमा ९९ केन्द्रीय सदस्य पदका लागि ३८४ जनाको उम्मेदवारी सूची सार्वजनिक गरिएको छ। नयाँ नेतृत्व चयनका लागि ३,८४९ प्रतिनिधिहरू सहभागी छन् र मतदानका लागि ८० वटा विद्युतीय मतदान मेसिन प्रयोग गरिँदैछ। उम्मेदवारहरूमध्ये २१० जना खुलातर्फ र १७४ जना सातै प्रदेशको प्रतिनिधित्वका लागि प्रतिस्पर्धामा रहेका छन्।
