महिला, बालबालिका, ज्येष्ठ नागरिक तथा सामाजिक सुरक्षा मन्त्री सीता वादीले जातीय भेदभाव र छुवाछूत लोकतान्त्रिक समाजका लागि बाधक रहेको बताउनुभएको छ। पाटनमा आयोजित एक कार्यक्रममा बोल्दै उहाँले यी सामाजिक कुरीतिहरूलाई प्रभावकारी रूपमा अन्त्य गर्न विद्यमान कानुनहरू परिमार्जन र संशोधन गर्ने प्रतिबद्धता व्यक्त गर्नुभयो। मन्त्री वादीले सीमान्तकृत समुदायका लागि सामाजिक न्याय र समानता सुनिश्चित गर्न कानुनी सुधार आवश्यक रहेकोमा जोड दिनुभयो।
