सन् २०२६ को मे महिनामा १०२,६२६ जना विदेशी पर्यटक नेपाल भित्रिएका छन्, जुन गत वर्षको सोही अवधिको तुलनामा १९ प्रतिशतले बढी हो। नेपाल पर्यटन बोर्डका अनुसार यो संख्या कोभिड-१९ महामारीपूर्वको स्तरभन्दा पनि बढी रहेको छ। यस वृद्धिले मुलुकको पर्यटन क्षेत्र र राष्ट्रिय अर्थतन्त्रमा सकारात्मक सुधार भइरहेको संकेत गरेको छ।
