Nepal Sets Rs 1.89 Trillion Budget Ceiling for Fiscal Year 2026/27

नेपाल सरकारले आगामी आर्थिक वर्ष २०८३/८४ का लागि १८ खर्ब ९० अर्ब रुपैयाँको बजेट सीमा निर्धारण गरेको छ। अर्थ सचिव घनश्याम उपाध्यायले प्रतिनिधि सभाको अर्थ समितिमा बजेट सीमा र प्रस्तावित प्रशासनिक सुधारबारे जानकारी दिनुभयो। यस सुधार प्रक्रिया अन्तर्गत राजस्व अनुसन्धान विभागलाई खारेज गर्ने महत्वपूर्ण निर्णय समेत गरिएको छ।

The Government of Nepal has fixed a budget ceiling of Rs 1.890 trillion for the upcoming fiscal year 2026/27. Finance Secretary Ghanshyam Upadhyay informed the Finance Committee of the House of Representatives about the ceiling and proposed administrative reforms. These reforms include the significant decision to abolish the Department of Revenue Investigation as part of fiscal restructuring.
