नेपाल सरकारले कार्बन व्यापार र वातावरणीय संरक्षण व्यवस्थापनका लागि राष्ट्रिय कार्बन प्राधिकरण गठन गर्ने घोषणा गरेको छ। यस कदमको उद्देश्य कार्बन क्रेडिट संयन्त्रलाई संस्थागत गर्ने र विश्वव्यापी कार्बन बजारमा नेपालको सहभागिता बढाउनु रहेको छ। प्राधिकरणले नीति निर्माण गर्ने र अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय जलवायु वित्त पहलहरूमा समन्वय गर्ने जिम्मेवारी पाउनेछ।
